The Good Land Story

The leaders at Good Land have been working in the field of sustainability for over a decade. We initially designed, planned, and managed environmental programs for some of the nation's most prestigious events, including the Super Bowl, the Ohio State Fair, and the American Quarter Horse Congress, as well as for some of Columbus’s largest organizations.

These sustainability programs won the Ohio Environmental Council Achievement Award for Green Business and Innovation in 2009. Using this experience, we also created the food scrap recycling business Eartha Limited, which earned the distinction of Columbus’s 2011 Best New Business of the Year. Our programs have continuously been replicated by individuals and organizations, and we are proud that they’ve advanced both local and national sustainability efforts.

Four years later, our “Head Dumpster Diver,” Mike Minnix, saw that there were still many sustainability advancements to be made in the Central Ohio community. Good Land was created to fill this need. We provide facilities and large-scale events with more environmentally and economically sustainable ways to operate and thrive.
